Aarron Walter is the Vice President of Design Education for InVision, a division dedicated to promoting design education worldwide. Drawing upon 15 years of experience running product teams and teaching design, Aarron works closely with the creative community, business leaders, and our two million customers to extol how to build
better design-driven products focused on what users want and need.

Previously, Aarron founded the UX practice at MailChimp and helped grow the product from a few thousand users to more than 10 million over eight years. He’s offered design guidance to the White House, the US Department of State, dozens of startups and venture capitalists and students at design colleges throughout the U.S. and Europe.

For the last 3 years, I have led a multi-disciplinary UX team for web and mobile initiatives at the IBM Studio for THINK Leaders, a c-suite knowledge exchange, and prototypes that avail themselves of the Watson platform. My focus has been on the full lifecycle of the product design, with an emphasis on end-to-end user experience, user research, management and design leadership.

I am a customer experience professional with over 18 years experience leading departments and teams through strategic planning, design and development of products and services for multi-channel experiences.

Product management focus utilizing SCRUM methodology and Jira MX Studio Agile PM tool.

Extensive experience leading complex engagements with cross functional teams with a focus on the delivery of a product that aligns business goals with customer needs and implementable in an agile execution framework.

Envisioned and implemented strategies and roadmaps for transactional, content management, e-commerce and digital applications for clients like IBM, UPS, SAP, Time Warner Cable, Audi of America, Ziff Davis publications, IHG and Sony.

Strong collaborator, manager and mentor. Highly skilled in framing complex engagements and identifying immediate MVPs. Well versed in both waterfall project management as well as the more result driven agile SCRUM methodology.
